You’d think there would have been alot of exitment with the landing of the fiber optic cable in Kenya but youd be mistaken in thinking so. Looks like most people have no idea of the potential benefits that come with the fiber optic cable and Michael Joseph was right to say dat may just 3 people out of the hundrens who attended the commissioning ceremony had an understan ding of the benefits of the cable.
Would you imagine being anble to wacth TV on the internet as if on a real TV set,downloading a movie and watching it at the same time, holding a video call in real time with multiple partingb across the world. this and more is the beauty of fiber optic. I would have shown some concern from the media if the topic of the fiber is discussed into detail. people in the coutry side need to know the resouce that is being brought tpo them and how to take advantage of it.
